When you’re training you literally use every muscle in your body, which also helps to increase your balance. As a result of building those muscles and strength you’ll heart rate becomes more stable and your blood pressure will drop to acceptable levels, this in turn will also relief anxiety so that’s quite a mix of benefits that every person could do with.

Great Stress Reliever

In this hectic society we live in we are all under a lot of pressure, whether you realize it or not, your busy schedule takes a larger toll on your body then you expect.

During a training session you can relieve all this stress and feel like you can beat the world. What other sport gives you that? Running? Sure it does help of course as it comes with the same or similar health benefits but nothing feels as good as punching or kicking the stress out of your body. Just make you won’t hurt your opponent 😉

Defending Yourself

Why you need to defend yourself? I guess that’s a rather obvious one, but let me cover some topics anyway.

  • You might end up in a bar fight when you had a few too many.
  • Getting robbed in the subway isn’t all that exceptional anymore either.
  • Perhaps your boss is a complete jerk?

Now I’m not saying to kick your boss in the nuts or something like that but it does provide a lot of confidence so that might help you with that. When my boss was complaining all the time I got my confidence from something completely different. I was starting up my own business and it was already flourishing so I was like who cares what you say and just stood their patiently waiting till he was done.
